Virtual Cards

Scallop offers virtual credit cards which can be used for online purchases, subscriptions, and global payments wherever Visa is accepted.

Each virtual card comes with a unique card number, expiry date, and CVV, and can be managed directly from the Scallop app.


Card Availability and Pricing

Virtual card access and pricing depend on your account plan.

Tier 1

Users can create virtual cards at a fixed cost per card.

Pricing $2 per virtual card

Notes Each card is billed at the time of creation Cards remain active until terminated by the user Standard card controls apply


Tier 2

Users receive a free first virtual card, with a low cost for additional cards.

Pricing First virtual card is free Additional cards cost $1 per card

Notes The free card applies only to the first card created Additional cards are charged individually Cards can be created and managed at any time


Tier 3

Users get unlimited access to virtual cards at no additional cost.

Notes No per-card fees Ideal for businesses, teams, and high-frequency usage Advanced controls and higher limits may apply


Card Controls and Management

All virtual cards support the following features:

  • View card details securely

  • Set and update spending limits

  • Block or unblock cards instantly

  • Terminate cards permanently

  • Track card transactions in real time

Changes take effect immediately.


Security and Compliance

Virtual cards are issued under applicable banking and card network regulations. Sensitive card details are securely stored and accessed only when required.

For security reasons:

  • Card details are revealed only after user authentication

  • Cards can be instantly blocked if suspicious activity is detected

  • Transactions are monitored in real time


Important Notes

  • Virtual cards are digital only and cannot be converted into physical cards

  • Card availability may depend on successful identity verification

  • Fees are charged directly from your Scallop balance
